No matter what is going on around us, and no matter how others are responding to it, we are to be becoming more like our Savior in every situation. Though the floods of life are uncomfortable, and even dangerous, they can be the very point of growth in Christ.
When we stand before God in heaven, there is one qualifier that will give us access to His presence: that we know the Son who gave His everything on our behalf. That is why our hope rests in faith in Jesus.
Some of us are faking it. Our walk with Jesus, our devotion to the Lord, our involvement in the kingdom of God, and our love for one another is part of an external makeover that we have constructed in order to impress those who don’t know what’s on the inside.
