God tells the Israelites in Deuteronomy 11:26, “See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse.” God warns His people that rejecting His commands leads to a curse, but He also says that following His commands brings blessing. As believers in Jesus Christ, we get to live in victory over the curse through faith in His finished work. However, how often do we still allow things into our lives that go against God’s commands? When we do this, we make the decision to walk out of the blessing in that area. I believe that many of us could be living in a much greater place of blessing if we would only surrender our whole hearts and lives to Him.
